LCs can help shed some light as to things that cause difficulty such as latching, tongue ties, low-milk supply, and over active milk ejection reflex, to name a few. Mothers having difficulty shouldn't have to face it alone, there is always support available. I help troubleshoot these difficulties and work with the dyad to make the family happy.

Massage Therapy

Osteopathy

Throughout my life, I have seen and interacted with so many people who have been disabled or even crippled from their daily jobs and activities to know that everyone needs a little bit of self-care. Treat your mind and body the way it deserves to be treated and follow me on a New Health Journey.

As a Manual Osteopathic Therapist, our philosophy states that “the human body has the capability to protect, repair and regenerate itself to preserve its function”. However, sometimes it might just need a little nudge in the right direction for it to heal more effectively and efficiently. Using the different systems of the body as a whole, we can formulate a personalized treatment plan specifically to help you achieve the goals you want in your health.

As a Registered Massage Therapist, I believe that every muscle in the body tells a story. It can hold tension and stress long after it’s gone. It can hold emotions and energy where it’s no longer needed. And by releasing the baggage or memories of trauma in the body, it would allow you to live life to the fullest.

My areas of focus include realigning the body structurally such as osteoarticulation, visceral manipulation, and soft tissue manipulation.

Outside of my clinical practice, I like to live both actively and artistically. From teaching partner dancing to creating music in my home studio, I strive to keep my passions constantly growing, allowing me to enjoy every moment of my life and I hope I can do the same for you too.

Throughout my life, I’ve had interactions with doctors that didn’t feel like they were listening to me, they were more interested in looking at my symptoms, than addressing my concerns. It wasn’t only with doctors either, there would be other times I wasn’t taken seriously, and I would leave feeling annoyed, disappointed, and disregarded. I would have to deal with my eczema, and the mental and physical stress it caused on my own. Interactions like this made me appreciate it when I finally found a doctor that would listen to me, and not disregard me, and I felt like I could work with them to figure out what was going on with me. I needed to find someone to see me and not just the symptoms I have.

I know how important it is to be heard and to connect with your doctor that way. That’s why I strive to listen to my patients and make them feel heard and cared for. This is even more emphasized when I work with expecting families and breastfeeding mothers. Having a newborn is a very emotional and overwhelming time of life, and even though it is beautiful, there are people who struggle, at a time they are more vulnerable and need support from people who will listen to them and their concerns.
